Woodbury Salterton Dumbutu Link  (An Aid Link with the Gambia) Provides funds, materials and sponsorship to promote self-help projects in Dumbutu village.  Currently this involves sending woodwork and other tools, sewing machines and bicycles, helping extend the use of the multipurpose centre and health care projects, as well as sponsoring about 100 children through school (which costs around £20/£25 a child).  Regular social fund raising events are held.  Contact Sylvia Bazell 01392 877835 zedfirst.dab@virgin.net or Tony Bennett 233762 macro@eclipse.co.uk

Woodbury Salterton 2000  This group raises funds for the general benefit of the Village.  Representatives are drawn from clubs and elements in the village.  Contact Patrick Bricknell 232463.

Woodbury Salterton School P.T.A.  Open to all parents and anyone interested in the school.  Meetings are held once a term, in the school.  Contact Mrs Katie Olney 232087 .

Whist Club  Drives are held in the Village Hall monthly on the 3rd Tuesday in aid of Church funds.  Contact Mrs Christine Bricknell 232463.

Woodbury Salterton Women’s Institute  The W.I. is an organisation for all women of the village and the surrounding area.  Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday at 7.30 in the village hall.  Talks are varied and regular social events and outings are organised.  Being part of a vigorous national and regional organisation adds an extra dimension for members.  Visitors and new members will be very welcome and lifts are available.  Contact Mrs Gillian Bricknell 232463.
